In 2003, RediPlant was founded by entrepreneur John Thrush as a single backhoe operation. It quickly grew into a reputable provider of wet hire services for plant and earthmoving equipment, establishing itself as a major player in the civil, construction, and mining sectors.

Under the leadership of Gerald Kirkpatrick, RediPlant consolidated its locations in 2008, solidifying its position as a market leader in wet hire and dry hire services. The company expanded its offerings in 2016 to include excavator attachments and equipment sales fully transitioning to dry hire, showcasing its ability to meet diverse customer requirements.
