New Holland Downsizes its Loader Range
New Holland Construction is diversifying into a new equipment category of small articulated loaders and plans to launch five models including one fully-electric version.
The company has announced the model lineup from the ML12 with a 1000kg tipping load capacity, through to the ML23’s 2265kg capacity.
NH said that its small frame, powerful machines increase operator productivity with impressive lifting capacity and tipping load features, respective to each machine.
They are designed for the agility to manoeuvre in compact spaces and are suited for a variety of landscaping and light construction jobs, including debris removal in open and confined spaces; tree care projects such as hauling landscaping materials and removing fallen trees; maintenance of landscaped areas ;and work on job sites with sensitive surfaces.
NH product manager Daniel Kakareka said: “These new small articulated loaders are the embodiment of New Holland Construction’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
“They’re designed to empower our customers to accomplish more in confined spaces, with increased productivity and precision. Truly, refining the way we approach landscaping and light construction tasks.”
Each small articulated loader model offers a high lifting capacity, ensuring operators can handle various loads with ease and unique tipping load features that enhance stability and safety.
ML12: The ML12 small articulated loader model has a lifting capacity of 1102kg (2425 pounds), tipping load capacity of 1000kg (2205 pounds) and lifting height of 2135mm.
It has a 25hp engine and an operating weight of 1102kg (2425-pound) that allows for minimal ground disturbance when turning or hauling on soft ground like turf.
Its narrow width of 905mm also makes it suitable for landscapers focused on clearing sidewalks or fenced-in areas with limited space.
Other key features of the ML12 model includes an electro-hydraulic controlled differential, hydrostatic four-wheel drive, standard lift path, and CII mechanical attachment coupler.
ML12T: This has the same horsepower and width as the ML12 model but has a telescopic reach loader and a lifting height of 2.8m.
This extended lift allows operators to load and unload materials from large trucks, while the extended reach provides more flexibility in dumping, levelling and grading tasks.
The high lift height, multiple tipping load paths of up to 750kg (1650 pounds, depending on loader position) and 1203kg (2646-pound) operating weight works well in light construction scenarios such as moving light debris and pallets.
ML15: This has a 1403kg (3086-pound) lifting capacity and 1503kg (3307-pound) tipping load so suits the need to carry heavier materials than smaller models, including steel, lumber and concrete items.
It fits into a variety of landscaping jobs to remove fallen trees and haul gardening materials. The 26-horsepower and 1578kg (3472-pound) operating weight with a cab is not the only appealing features of the ML15 model as operators appreciate the safety entry bar, non-suspension vinyl seat, armrests and exterior mirror features to create a comfortable driving experience.
ML22X: This is New Holland Construction’s first electric-powered small articulated loader. When fully charged, the 24.9kW lithium-ion battery powers the machine for up to six hours, depending on the task.
Multiple charging options are available to meet the various needs of operators. The on-board charger fully charges the battery from 0 to 100 per cent in about 8.5 hours, while the fast-charge connector provides a full charge in less than 2 hours. The lifting capacity of 2204kg (4850-pounds), tipping load of 2058kg (4528-pounds) and lifting height of 2410mm ensures smooth and strong loading, moving and hauling capabilities for the operator.
ML23: The fifth model to join New Holland Construction’s small articulated loader portfolio is the ML23 model. This loader has a showcases a 2410mm lifting height, 2265kg (4982-pound) tipping load and 2204kg (4850-pound) lifting capacity, bringing the operator to new heights and lifts than the smaller models.
It has an engine rated at 26-hp at 2300rpm and can travel at a max speed of 20km/h — the fastest of all the New Holland Construction small articulated loader models.
The easy transportation and loading of the ML23 makes it a go-to machine for landscaping and removal service contractors that move from job to job quickly.
“All five of these models mark a significant milestone in our journey of delivering exceptional landscaping and construction equipment,” Mr Kakareka said.
“The machines exemplify our drive for ultimate efficiency and versatility to provide our customers with the tools they need to excel in their work.”
