Paddock only use the best quality components and offer these to customers at exceptional prices. The gearboxes in these trowels are extremely heavy duty and are constructed with a pure copper worm gear ensuring trouble free operation. Other brands will often specify lower cost gearboxes with sintered steel gears with a copper coating. These might last the warranty period but will not give you the many years of service you should expect.

Paddock use American UBC bearings and Gates drive belts throughout these trowels, not Chinese like other brands. These small differences add up and result in a smooth and longer lasting machine which is absolutely critical when working with concrete.

The Paddock power trowel can be fitted with 3 types of blades

Float pans are large style blades, which hook on over finishing or combination blades. These blades are used in the earliest stages of work and are not pitched. This operation will bring the water and fines to the surface, allowing for a smoother finish when finishing the concrete.

After floating, allow the concrete to set until it can support the weight of the trowel. Finishing blades are used in the final stages of working, and are progressively pitched to burnish the concrete. The blade pitch can be further adjusted during the operation to achieve the desired finish.

Combination blades can be used throughout the concrete working process. They are used in place of float pans and finishing blades.

Engines are stored and transported with only enough oil to keep the unit lubricated and additional oil will need to be added before starting. For ease of shipping some minor assembly is required.
